We manage the inventory of intangible cultural heritage in accordance with the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
We organize training courses on folk culture and intangible cultural heritage.
The Estonian Centre of Folk Culture mediates various national support measures and programs for the promotion of culture.
Various support measures also make it possible to contribute to the appreciation of folk culture and intangible cultural heritage.
We participate in the process of shaping and implementing cultural policy at local, national and international level and advance topics related to cultural management and cultural policy.
We offer all-round support for achieving common goals to those operating in the field. We progress the field in cooperation with state institutions, municipalities, central societies, non-profit associations, higher education institutions and companies.
